Ethan Baldry represented Stewards Academy at the Jack Petchey ‘Speak Out Challenge’ regional final at Passmores Academy on Wednesday 10^th May. He was selected after his successful participation in a workshop designed to improve confidence in public speaking and his presentation on a topic that was important to him.

Ethan was a fantastic ambassador for the Academy and spoke eloquently and humorously about his chosen topic.  

Ethan Baldry said: “Speaking in front of so many people was an incredible experience and it has given me the confidence to stand for the position of Head Boy next half term.”

Emma Brigenshaw, English teacher, said: “It has been an excellent experience for Ethan and the students involved in the workshop, providing them with an opportunity to build their confidence and skills. I am looking forward to seeing the talents of year 9 next year!”
