Stewards Academy’s MFL department organised its annual ‘Bake Off!’ to celebrate the European Day of Languages and to raise money for charity.  

Some great contributions were seen, and Year 7 students in particular showed off their baking talents. Students raised nearly £100 for charity and picked up house points for participation too.  

Elizabeth Thomas, Subject Leader for MFL, said: “It was amazing to see the number of students willing to participate either through their baking, or through purchasing the delicious baked goods! It was a fabulous sense of community spirit when we opened the doors to sell and I would like to thank everyone that took part.”
