I have been a Teacher Governor since 2021 and have been teaching at Stewards Academy for over 16 years. It is a great school to work in, and it’s a privilege to be on the Board of Governors. I enjoy working with all staff, students and parents, in the hope that we will create a wholesome, safe and happy environment for all to succeed in. It is so important that everyone who comes to Stewards feels they can reach their full potential.

I used to work in the PE department, I now teach Maths across all years. I am also the Assist Headteacher and oversee Key Stage 3. This role allows me to work with students in year 7, 8 and 9, and help guide them in the right direction. My aim is for all students to leave as happy, confident and outgoing young adults, who respect all things around them.

Outside of working hours, I really enjoy the outdoors and adventurous activities!
